2293 saw the third Federation Starship to bear the prestigious name. The USS Enterprise-B was the first Refit Excelsior to see service. Serving under several Captains, the vessel was prominently involved in exploration beyond the Gourami sector, charting 142 star systems and making first contact with seventeen new civilizations.
