ADFX-03 Gaius

The ADFX-03 was a proposed fighter design to complement the ADFX-01/02 series. Using a canard, delta wing layout, it was a less radical type compared to the larger Morgan. The ADFX-03 would incorporate most of the former's technologies and be built in greater numbers. It was given the codename "Gaius" during development. In combat, the ADFX-03 would protect the Morgan using its integrated ECM systems, providing a defensive barrier against enemy attacks. This would allow the Morgan to wreak havoc using its energy weapons and burst missiles. However, the Gaius was not restricted to supportive roles. The aircraft was projected to be a potent design in its own right, with high acceleration and turn rates.

Despite construction of a mock-up and considerable research work, the Gaius was scrapped in 1991 in order to concentrate on the Morgan. This was due to the ongoing recession of the Belkan economy. Following the 1995 Belkan War and the fall of its fascist government, very little information remains on the ADFX-03. Most of the development material were either purged or lost. Apart from sketchy descriptions from former pilots and employees, only a few official images have been released to the public.
