VFC-17 Su-33

Su-33's were among the numerous Belkan aircraft that were captured by the Oseans during the 1995 Belkan War. Most were returned to Yuktobania while others were retained for evaluation purposes.

The Republic of Emmeria received 12 examples in 1997 and an additional 10 in 2003. Illustrated here is an example from the Emmerian Navy's Composite Fighter Squadron 17 "Black Falcons". VFC-17 operates the bulk of the Su-33 fleet and a one-off detachment is flown by VF-25 "Punchers" aboard RES Invincible.
