Su-25 - Leasath Air Force

Leasath's acquisition of the Su-25 was certainly influenced by political appeasement. In line with the LAF's policy of acquiring machines from both eastern and western sources - achieving an optimum mix of capability/cost. These Frogfoots arrived in the early 1980's, augmented by several MiG-23's as a bonus from the Yuktobanians. They would serve as excellent CAS machines, with pilots praising its toughness and high sortie rate.
