Solitaire

In the aftermath of the Dominion War, the USS Nobleman found herself deployed in distant areas of space. With hostilities winding down, Starfleet feared that the Romulans would take advantage of the situation in the Neutral Zone.

This assumption would later ring true as the Nobleman was the first to wrestle with devious Warbirds. For several weeks, she was the lone protector of key installations in disputed areas. Chief among them was a research station in Crales IV, which was secretly operated by Section 31.

The Nobleman crew was kept in the dark, as the Crales IV station was equipped with sophisticated tracking equipment. On the surface, their facade was to study marine life on the planet. However, Section 31 had other intentions. The constant surveillance and meticulous observation of Romulan activity allowed its operators to ascertain the strength of the immediate opposition.
