Courier Nova

The Nova Class has effectively demonstrated its usefulness as a courier vessel. With a set of upgrades, the starship can reach Warp 9.883 if deemed necessary. The sleek spaceframe and advanced nacelles, which were left over from the Defiant pathfinder were well suited to the task. Although this effort was reduced to a handful of Novas as the majority of the fleet was focused on scientific tasks. Still, twelve of these courier variants were procured, allowing them to traverse the fringe areas of the Federation with little or no effort.
