X-35B - Federal Erusian Air Force

The Erusians had little interest in the growing Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. It had little need for a multirole stealth fighter, instead focusing its efforts on domestic upgrades for its current Sukhois and F-series fighters. However, they had been courting its larger cousin, the F-22 since its inception.

During the 1993 Aviation Expo in Farbanti, a demo airframe was showcased to FEAF officials. Suspiciously painted in a Raptor-like manner the Erusians were nearly convinced to procure the type. Still, objective heads prevailed and they reasserted their intention to continue pursuing the Raptor.
