The surprise attack at the Pearl Nebula decimated a great portion of the Federation reserve fleet. Effectively leaving the immediate area vulnerable to Gul Kentar's forces. The Klingon Empire is quick to intervene, with Chancellor Martok himself mustering an armada to engage the hostile Cardassians. After securing their surviving Starfleet allies, he sets a course to protect the besieged planet of Zarush.
